IMPORTANT UPDATES on TESTING:
PSAT TESTING will take place on JANUARY 26th
All current sophomores and junior invitees are welcome to participate in the PSAT administration at Stephen Decatur High School on January 26th. All students must pre-register by clicking the infographic on the left. The PSAT will only be administered once students are cleared to be in the building. Any sophomore and junior invitee can take the PSAT regardless of whether they are on the list for in-person learning. There will be no make-ups for this exam. If students are enrolled in the following courses, they are required to take the exam/state exam.
Required Testing Areas: Government: HSA-Government Physical Science: MISA Chemistry: MISA English 11: Accuplacer Intermediate Algebra Prep: Accuplacer |
Both the HSA-Government and MISA are required state assessments for high school graduation. The Accuplacer is the official final exam for English 11 and Intermediate Algebra Prep. Additionally, the Accuplacer counts toward "College and Career Readiness." It is imperative that students take all tests seriously. Please continue to view the testing calendar for dates, times, and important updates. NOTE: Bus transportation will be extremely limited and potentially unavailable in some areas. Please call Mr. Hill transportation is an issue. CDC safety guidelines will be followed while testing takes place. Please bring your device, CHARGED AND UPDATED, as well as a mask. |

Please help us as we work to protect your children and our staff! As we welcome students back into our building, please be advised that there will be a mandatory screening process
using a QR code. Students will need to open their phone cameras, point to the QR code, and complete the health screening form. All students must display a green screen with the word "ENTER" in order to be admitted into the building. The QR sign will be posted on all entry doors and on all buses. DAILY STUDENT EXPECTATIONS:
1. Log in to Schoology Account promptly at 8:00 a.m.
2. Know your Bell Schedule: Period One 8:00 - 9:29 Period Two 9:35 - 11:04 Period Four 11:10 - 1:04 (lunch period varies) Period 5 1:10 - 2:40 3. Click on the course for the designated block. 4. All courses will have a uniform layout with folders titled "This Week," "Resources," and "Previous Weeks." 5. Click on the "This Week" folder for each class at the beginning of the period to receive further directions for assignments and Zoom conferences. *Synchronous learning will take place each day and all students are expected to participate in real-time instruction. *Attendance will be taken. *Schoology log-in credentials are printed on the student's schedule. *For additional resources and on-line expectations, click here. |
